Gypsy Picnic

Bill E. and I are both members of the RC gypsies, a group of people from other clubs that
enjoy camping and flying at area shows. This past weekend we had a camp/fly/chicken bbq at
one of the members houses. Other than a lot of rain on Friday, which made going to the fly-in
day at Geneseo a rather wet affair, the weather was perfect for flying and camping.
While the men were out burning holes in the sky the women were sitting in the shade.
Probably telling stories about the guys...

Of course after seeing this picture of Bill its probably understandable that they should be telling stories.

Saturday Dave Landers cooked up some chickens for us.

While dinner was cooking we had a suprise visit.

This is a beautifuly restored Heli from the korean war days.

After Felix (forgot to get the last name) landed it was time for dinner.
One of the neighbors brought us desert. As we were sitting on the porch enjoying
some great food we heard the unmistakable sound of a rolls royce engine.
Running out side we were treated to about 10 min. of passes.
