You gotta finish up that Miss Norway. Those are beautiful fliers.

Right now the fuse is keeping my upstairs computer from blowing away. It's not that far off though, just need to fit the wing and cover. (just... ha!)

I decided on a Robart hinge with the control horn on it, mainly because I had a it kicking around.

The wing is solidly epoxied to the fuselage.

It begins to look like an airplane.

I fussed and fooled with the tank arrangement. The plans want a 13 oz Hayes tank installed by cutting a big notch in the leading edge of the wing. I was reluctant to do that and went to a 10 oz Sullivan tank on edge. Turns out that upright it fits better and has better alignment with the carburetor.

A little padding and some space filler around the tank:

These parts are easier to cut than they look like they would be.

The cowl doesn't look all that hard either.

I'm using Gorilla glue and using triangular stock inside to attach the sections.

It didn't come out too badly.

I needed seven cents to balance laterally. The clamps hold the glued pennies on.

Fore and aft balance seems good. The landing gear had to be moved a bit back to allow room for the muffler.

This project is not dead. I'm just busy with other things and just resumed covering.
